PYW is open to youth in grades 6-12 from Pittsfield, NH and surrounding communities.

The Pittsfield Youth Workshop was founded in 1986 by a group of local citizens concerned about the lack of positive opportunities for the youth in their community. The town has come to rely on the Pittsfield Youth Workshop to provide a variety of programs and trips to meet the needs of the growing youth population. PYW has been an after school destination, and second home to many of the youth in our community for over 35 years!

At PYW we believe all youth are integral parts of any community and deserve the opportunity to thrive and grow into the best they can be. We believe in creating a safe and inviting space, where youth can explore new passions, learn new skills, and have fun. All while providing the caring support to challenge themselves, take safe risks, problem solve, develop leadership and healthy life skills. We believe in taking responsibility and accountability for ones actions and decisions, integrity to do the right thing, and to learn from their mistakes. The youth in our community deserve every opportunity to enrich their lives, and PYW will be there to support our young people and provide this much needed service into the future. A full description of PYW’s Values & Beliefs can be found here.
